My Students

My students are excited to learn all topics in science. They love the hands on experiments and challenges I create for them. They enjoy beautifying the school by planting and creating our yearly garden, and love to research. Each year they come up with different items they want to try and grow. I also love when my students leave my room and say ‘today was the best day ever, that experiment was so much fun!’ I love that they are learning and having fun, I love that they are curious and come up with suggestions for our learning and future experiences.

My Project

Children will be able to further their learning when they are able to conduct research independently prior to an experiment. Students will also be able to initiate their own experiments after learning about specific topics, therefore guiding their own learning. Having access to computers in science class will broaden their learning. As of today we share a set of computers with the entire school. Sometimes they are not always available to the science students. Which leads to a loss of flow of the lesson and learning. If the computers are always available to science students and just used specifically for science class students will always have internet access and will not miss out on immediate learning.
