Students at my school come together from many different backgrounds and abilities to create a beautiful community that we call home. We have both self-contained Montessori classes and self-contained gifted classrooms, as well as our mainstream classrooms, so we are able to meet a large variety of learning styles and student needs.
My students are curious about how the world works, and I try to foster that curiosity with a project-based curriculum and hands-on learning experiences.
Our school is a place where we can come together and build while exploring concepts in science, the arts, engineering, and more.
My Project
My students have been participating in our STREAMS class for the past year. This school year, I have taken a vote, and everyone wants to work on a robotics unit. These supplies will help this dream become a reality, as we dive into the wonder of how robots play an important part in our everyday lives.
This unit will help strengthen and support my student's skills and knowledge of STEM concepts, with the creation, design, assembly, and operation of robots.
They will be excited and engaged because this is what they want to learn about!
