My Students

The school year has just begun and we have 24 fantastic 4th graders that have entered our classroom for the first time ready for an exciting year of learning. In our general-ed/ENL classroom, our goal is to create a comfortable classroom environment where students look forward to coming each day to grow both academically and socially. Our classroom is filled with extremely diverse learners. Our neighborhood is very diverse as well. Many of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch.

Our students thrive on choice and finding purpose in what they are doing.

I would love for my students to be more independent and make positive choices within the classroom. All of our students deserve nothing but the best! Help me give them the best!

My Project

Help enhance our classroom library. In our classroom, we have many different leveled readers. If this project were to get funded it would greatly help our student build their reading skills and stamina to read.

Our classroom not only has many different leveled readers, but we have students whose first language isn’t English.

Our classroom would also benefit from bilingual dictionaries for children. These dictionaries will be in both Spanish and Arabic. This will help these students communicate with others and make connections with words and visuals. Any donation would be greatly appreciated to make our library ready for all students!
