Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In second grade, we learn about our community and ourselves. We use balloons and cover them with paper mache. We use skin color paints to represent what we look like. The students love how the finished project looks like them.

Bringing projects alive with art materials lets students find their creative side.

Students love to design, build, use their imagination and create projects. Having different materials to use, helps them generate various assignments. My students love to display what they have completed and enjoy showing the completed work to fellow classmates.
