My Students

In this new technological world my students are often left behind. With no access to computers or Internet at home, their first experience with technology is often in Kindergarten.

Despite the challenges they face early on like, living in a high poverty area and being a second language learner, they are energetic, eager to learn, and full of life.

I look forward to each day they motivate me with the joy of learning. Seeing their eyes light up when they have learned something new is part of the reason I love my job.

My Project

The Samsung Tablet will change my students lives because they will have access to newer technology. We will be able to take pictures of our charts, projects and activities that we do together and post in our classroom for all of us to see, use and celebrate. Additionally, the tablet will provide a way to access reading, vocabulary and math games.

This project is very important because we will have access to technology that will help and support or Reading and Writing Curriculum.

We will be able to use this technology to also support our artistic skills.
