Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with a diverse group of children who come from an incredibly diverse low income community. 85% of my students are predominantly English Language Learners. My students have a wide range of abilities, needs, and concerns. My students are dedicated to their learning and growth as students and leaders in their communities.
Every student is unique in a way that makes the classroom lively and engaging, and because every student has a different background, we are able to bring these experiences in the class to build a safe and warm space for all children.
Colorful visuals enhance communication and provide students with access to learning new and challenging skills. Resources that use color can stimulate retention, participation, and will boost active learning.
The color printer will make a difference in my students' learning because color is engaging. This printer will enable me to create posters, various visual aids, charts, activities, and assignments in color for my students. Access to color printing will make our daily activities fun and more visually appealing.
