This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In our classroom we are all about students exploring the past and bringing it to life. Our classroom has limited art supplies, and my students love working together to create visual representations of what they have learned and discovered. These supplies would help us be able to create more posters, stimulate painting on the Sistine Chapel, creating art representing the different eras of the United States, and more.
We are all about not just memorizing history, but having our students use primary sources to explore the past on their own, and this is one way to help.
