My Students

My learners are passionate and eager to learn about the world around them through personalized learning. Our classroom is designed to meet the needs of all learners through differentiated small group instruction, learning from others, technology driven, learner choice, goal setting, and assessment.

My learners are independent, who know how to self-advocate for their learning.

We work together to create and accomplish short and long-term learning goals throughout the school year. I can't express how much I love working with my students. They are simply wonderful individuals.

My Project

It's very easy for students to be able to find books that they love that are fiction, but non-fiction can be a challenge. The wait is over with the work of HQ Who Books. My students are asking for more in the classroom.

The books would help students learn about important events and locations around the world.

These books are extremely engaging with hopes of building more projects around these books. Students will be developing projects and reports around their learning with these books. I had some students finish these books over the time period of a weekend. I want more of this happening in my classroom!

Mr. Steger Lowell P Goodrich Elementary School Grades 3-5
