The children in my class all come to school with different needs! With the changing world and all the stimulation out there, students need to find ways that help them to focus on their tasks.
My class has a diverse demographic and is full of students learning two languages simultaneously.
This year, I am teaching two sections of dual language. The class has a very diverse make up, with students coming from different backgrounds and different home languages. Regardless of where they come from, all students in my class can and will learn!
My Project
Teachers are best able to target students' individual needs when working in small groups. Typically students are called to a table to get this personalized attention. Students love working in the small groups and coming to the teacher's table.
Let's make this experience even more special by providing them with a fun and colorful environment for their learning.
The stools will be a fun place for them to sit and focus. The dry erase dots will give us the opportunity to practice skills.
Not only will these materials help motivate students but it will also serve as an organizational system by assigning student to a specific color. Students will also have their dry erase surface right away, taking away the wasted time of passing out the boards that we typically use.
