My Project

My 52 students in grades 6-8 live in a rural area. Many are from socioeconomically disadvantaged homes. However, they are still curious, enthusiastic, creative and genuinely excited to learn.

These STEAM items will give my students opportunities to learn about real life experiences.

These hands-on kits paired with the tablets will help improve reading, math and communication skills while exposing them to learn about future careers. Many students learn and retain skills more when having meaningful hands-on activities. My students motivate me every day and these items will motivate them to be actively engaged in their education.
