My Project

Hello! My name is Kay and I am a dance teacher at an elementary school. As the dance teacher, my goal is to expose my students to as many styles of the arts as possible. Dance is a big influence on our students. It helps them to express themselves, explore their creativity, keep them fit/active and pushes them to challenge themselves mentally and physically.

We are doing a Nutcracker performance and some scholars need help getting ballet shoes to be able to perform.

These shoes will not only help them in their show but it would be a new experience fo rmany of the scholars. We have been using our socks in the dance room for the school year so far and I am hoping we can meet our goal to be able to get ballet shoes to use for our performance in December.
