Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Playing music in the classroom can help improve students' memory and learning capability. There is also evidence to show that music played at low volumes during class activities can boost creativity and concentration. When students hear music with their peers in the same room and not through a Zoom meeting it creates a fun and engaging classroom. While academics are essential in the classrooms, so is the social emotion of every student.

Music is a universal language that everyone can speak!

The equipment being asked for will not be used by one classroom, but fill a whole playground with dancing students of all grades. Dancing encourages everyone to move and exercise. Music is not just sounds to these students, it helps with self-regulation, self-confidence, leadership skills, social skills, and socio-emotional intelligence.
