Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Brimm students are first Generation college students and we would like to send them off with the necessities needed for college so that there first could be successful. By providing these necessities our students can focus on the academic requirements. School supplies benefit children in many ways, including learning to think outside the box, facilitating creativity alongside creative problem- solving skills, and giving them self-confidence.

Creative students have been proven to perform better academically than even their higher IQ peers.

College requires more than just your laptop and backpack so requesting erasable pens, plastic folders, closet hangers and hygiene products is important to have those things but getting real school supplies will help you throughout the semester. The basic supplies will ensure their not stressed about meeting their needs.
