Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The crayons, laminator kit, and sticky pads asked for are to help decorate our family resource room from students/ families to feel more welcomed and motivate students to learn. Some of these items are inspirational colored poster with meaningful attendance sayings that promote good attendance. Other items that I have asked for on this project are materials for students to create their own posters and hang them up around the building to promote good attendance. The goal of this project is for our students to express themselves in another way that other students in their community can relate to. I plan on pulling my group of students called Attendance Squad (students with really good attendance this year and other years) to share those great tips they use daily.
