Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We love how diverse and unique our students are at LaVenture. Each one brings their own strengths, experiences, and perspectives, making our school community vibrant and dynamic. The resources that are being requesting—colorful bulletin boards with positive and affirming messages—will play a key role in helping our students feel welcomed, valued, and motivated. These bright, attractive materials will provide students with daily affirmations, fostering a positive mindset and reinforcing good behavior.

Our goal for this project is to create an environment where every student feels inspired, supported, and proud of their school.

The positive messages and beautiful designs will make the school feel welcoming, and the displays will encourage students to engage with their surroundings in a meaningful way.

What makes our students truly special is our diversity. We have a rich mix of cultures, and our dual-language program is an essential part of this. We want our bulletin boards to reflect this diversity, with messages that speak to students in both languages, making all feel included and represented. This project will help us celebrate our cultural richness while promoting unity and positivity in our school.
