Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The books listed in this project will make a difference in my students' lives because it will change their view of reading. In order for students to become lifelong readers and build skills, they need to first enjoy what they are reading!

These books have been personally requested by students!

Reading these books will challenge them to think about the things that make us human. Through their reflection as they read, they will be able to make connections to people that are just like them but also those who may be different from them.

My students are motivated to learn and to improve their reading skills. Many of them were not avid readers and have now become just that. Thank you!
