Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Yes, my students come from an inner city, low income, disadvantaged area where they are all on free lunch. That does not define them. When they enter my kindergarten classroom, they become my children!

These kiddos are kind, smart, and lovable!

They learn to do their best, they learn making mistakes is ok, they choose to try again, and they learn it's important to help each other.

Having colored paper to use in the classroom for writing projects and activities will be a welcome addition to the students' writing activities. It's always nice when students can put their final writing on colored paper, I can give them choices of colors, it gives them "authority' over their assignment with something as little as this. Kindergarten kiddos take pride in this.
