Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year we added a podcasting class to our technology curriculum! This has been a great opportunity to have kids have hands on experience with real world jobs in multimedia that they otherwise would not have!

The lighting and green screen included in this project will not only increase our production value, but it will help to instill a sense of confidence and legitimacy to our student podcasters.

In order to ensure that our students are experiencing every aspect of podcasting to expose them to jobs in multimedia they didn’t know were an realistic option our students have been working hard on creating logos, social media posts, thumbnail art and more for our podcasting channel and their specific shows. With the iron on vinyl and sweatshirts students can design and create their own show or channel merch to promote all of the hard work they have been doing on their shows this year.

All of these requests will create that level of professionalism that will inspire students to explore these career options after school and create the supportive team environment we are striving for!
