This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I absolutely love my students’ curiosity and excitement for learning. They are eager to explore new ideas, and they thrive when they have tools that make learning interactive and fun. The items I’ve requested will play a huge role in supporting their growth. Headphones will allow my students to fully engage in independent activities during math and literacy centers, providing them with personalized learning opportunities. The reading/writing center easel will serve as an anchor for small-group instruction, helping students strengthen their foundational literacy skills. Dry erase packets will make practicing math and writing more engaging and hands-on, while the bean bag cover will make our library center more inviting, encouraging students to develop a love for reading.

My goal for this project is to create a classroom environment where every student has access to the resources they need to grow academically and feel inspired.

What makes my students special is their unique ability to persevere and find joy in learning, no matter the challenges they face. With these tools, I hope to continue fostering their confidence, creativity, and excitement for learning every single day.
