Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students reflect the microcosm that is New York City. They are full of ideas and energy. We are working on putting their powerful words to paper. One way to engage and motivate students is to create digital images in color that inspire them. New York City public schools struggle with funding for resources. A laser jet printer and toner would be a welcomed addition to our classroom.

My students deserve to be inspired on a daily basis.

By providing our Humanities class with a laser jet printer students will be able to create covers for their portfolios, bright and vibrant images to display at their publishing party and have the ability to create copies of images that inspire them.

As a teacher having the ability to generate tasks with color coded instructions allows me to differentiate to a diverse group of learners. When words pop on paper, it hooks them in!
