Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are vibrant, curious, and full of potential!

They are eager learners who thrive in an organized space where books and materials are easy to find.

Many of them are bilingual, and I want to nurture their love for reading in both English and Spanish with a classroom library that is exciting, accessible, and inviting.

With color-coded book bins, my students will be able to quickly grab books at their reading level, making independent reading a breeze. A well-organized library means more time spent exploring stories and developing a lifelong love for books!

In addition, storage bins for daily supplies and learning manipulatives will keep everything within reach, minimizing distractions and maximizing learning time. Instead of fumbling for materials, my students will be able to dive right into hands-on activities that build critical thinking skills. Plus, these bins will encourage responsibility and independence as they take ownership of keeping their space neat and ready for learning.

Our Goals:

Build a visually engaging, Dual Language library to spark a love for reading.

Provide easy-access storage so students can focus on learning, not searching for materials.

Foster independence and responsibility through an organized, student-friendly classroom.
