Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The specific items I am requesting—crayons, colored pencils, file folders, and pencil pouches—will make a significant difference in my students’ learning by providing them with the essential tools needed for creativity, organization, and academic success. Many of my students do not have access to basic school supplies at home, and having these resources readily available in the classroom ensures they can fully engage in their lessons without barriers. Crayons and colored pencils will allow students to express their creativity, enhance visual learning, and complete interactive assignments. File folders will help them stay organized, teaching them responsibility and essential organizational skills. Pencil pouches will ensure that their supplies remain in good condition and are easily accessible, reducing time wasted looking for materials.

My goal for this project is to create an equitable learning environment where every student has the necessary tools to succeed.

By eliminating the stress of lacking supplies, students can focus on learning, collaborating, and developing essential skills.

My students are resilient, hardworking, and eager to learn. Despite challenges, they come to school each day with enthusiasm and determination. Providing them with these basic supplies will help nurture their love for learning and set them up for success.
