Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kindergarten is a very important year for students. They learn more than just academics. My students are all immigrants and refugees and do not speak English.

With that being said, most of my students have never been to school before.

My classroom is in the basement this year and I am wanting to create a bright and inviting place for students to spend their time in each day.

The decor will do just that. I will be able to hang up student work with a DIY bulletin board and use the boarders to create just that. The chair pockets will be used to store student materials and allow access in a timely manner.
