My Students

Being a teacher in Camden, NJ, I am privileged to teach such enthusiastic, caring, well-rounded children who are open to the world of possibility and learning. Every day, my students enter my classroom with smiles on their faces and an urgency to dive into learning new and exciting things!

Centers are a daily part of our classroom routine that allow my students to learn at their own pace, while exploring new topics and skills in exciting, creative ways!

With so many young, energetic learners, it's so important to keep my kids moving and active in the classroom. Having flexible, comfortable seating provides my students with a happy environment to learn and grow! We thrive on choosing the perfect location for our independent and group work, and it adds to our engagement and success in what we're learning.

Our classroom is a room filled with bright colors, a sense of relaxation, and many visually stimulating bulletin boards that capture the minds and attention of my students. By adding touches of student work and focus skills around the classroom, my students are able to see their hard work pay off, and also use the resources around the classroom to continue growing.

My Project

By using Astrobrights Colored Cardstock on my bulletin boards, my students are able to identify our important words and headers in the classroom. With a Fellowes Spectra Laminator, I will be able to preserve these letters in order to reuse and recycle them, year after year. Using Card Stock Paper keeps our materials nice and sturdy and prevents them from ripping and tearing. I can also use the X-Acto Light-Duty Knife to carefully cut out letters to use around the room. These materials will help make my classroom bright and cheerful when they enter the room. Students will see important words pop out of the walls and around the room.
