This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Imagine a classroom where every student has a book that ignites their imagination and fuels their love for reading. In our dual-language classroom, the power of bilingualism is celebrated every day. Our students are on a remarkable journey, developing not only proficiency in two languages but also the cognitive and cultural skills that come with being literate. To nurture this growth, they must have access to a rich and diverse collection of Spanish books.

Books are more than just reading material; they are windows into different cultures, experiences, and ideas.

For bilingual students, having a robust selection of Spanish books is crucial. These resources support their language development, enhance their literacy skills in both languages and build their confidence as readers.

My goal is to provide a wide array of Spanish-language books that cater to various interests and reading levels. By doing so, we not only support their academic growth but also foster a lifelong love for reading. Your support in this project will make a profound difference. Let's come together to give our students the resources they need to succeed and shine brightly in their bilingual journey.
