My Students

My scholars are some of the funniest, kindest, and witty children you will ever meet. Each day, they help me remember my purpose. They come to me with inquisitive questions about the world or a book or advice on how to handle a specific situation with a fellow scholar.

My scholars are hungry for new experiences inside the classroom, and I want to be able to give them what they are yearning for.

They illuminate world thinkers and are very openminded about learning new things about themselves and the world around them. I want them to see the world from their classroom in hopes they will one day do the same for others.

My Project

My greatest expectation of myself is to make sure I can teach my scholars in the most effective way possible. These materials such as the white board and the jumbo size magnetic math pieces will help me teach effectively and efficiently. It will provide a clear and precise demonstrate of the many different strategies my scholars will learn, provide some normalcy in these very unconventional times. We are starting REMOTELY, which means we(my scholars and I) won't get to have the same face to face interaction if we were in class. Last year was a marathon navigating remote learning for my scholars and their families, but this year it will a victory!

Ms. Shaw Cultural Arts Academy - Sprg Creek Grades 3-5
