Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have the honor of developing a joyful, restorative, culturally centered, and experiential Visual Arts program for our middle school students in the South Bronx. Almost all of the students at our school have not received arts education until this upcoming school year.

These supplies will shine in our under resourced art studio.

Along with recycled materials, the supplies listed (printing plates, colored pencils, rubber bracers, etc.) will provide students with multiple ways to investigate, learn, and create art while they continue to develop more of an understanding of themselves, their peers, their communities, and of the environment.
