I need tuition assist for Breathe for Change training which will take 6 months and will allow me to support students and staff with social-emotional skills, mindfulness and yoga to improve self-regulation and mental wellness.

My Project

Well-being and improved mental health in students are so desperately needed and are at an increased need in recent years. I will use this training to build my toolbox as a clinical school social worker. I plan to use these new tools with the entire school, including staff to build a school community with regulation and social-emotional skills.

I will teach social-emotional lessons mindfulness and yoga to students and staff in individual, small group and whole group lessons.

I will share strategies with teachers and staff to feel more ease in their bodies and to have improved sense of well-being.
