My Project

My teaching has always been rooted in a deep understanding that a child’s social emotional learning (SEL) is the foundation for lifelong health, growth, and learning. As a lifelong learner, I believe the self-care practices presented in this training (yoga and meditation) will help me to prioritize my well-being as I strive to grow personally and professionally. I plan to implement the strategies I've learned with my preschoolers to nurture their social emotional learning development. I also plan on sharing all that I learn with my fellow educators to promote their self-care as well.
