This project will help cover the cost of the Breathe For Change comprehensive training program. It is designed for educators to build skills used to facilitate wellness and social-emotional learning in the classroom, as well as teach inclusive and trauma-informed yoga classes to young people. I am a physical therapist in a public preschool in NYC. I'm also a clinician in an after school sensory motor social emotional after school program that serves K-12 in all 5 boroughs. Despite my professional experiences and masters degree, my training in Social Emotional Learning is limited and I am seeking to fill this hole in my professional development to better serve my diverse students. Emotional regulation and social emotional learning is a key part of pre-K and beyond. As a physical therapist I help students with their gross motor skills, while also helping them thrive in a school environment. The breathe for change virtual training will allow me to more effectively help my students
