This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love to learn and learning about practices that transfer to spaces and places outside of the school walls is a major bonus! I am requesting funds to attend a Breathe for Change training on mindfulness, SEL and wellness practices. After attending this training, I will be a certified yoga instructor and gain knowledge to continue leading wellness classes for my students and school community.

So, not only will I learn how to support my mental and physical health as an educator, I will gain transformative social-emotional learning and mindfulness tools to integrate into my school.

The impact that this will have on my school community is endless! I can't wait to bring this learning into my life, my school and beyond. Thank you for helping to make this happen!
