My Students

My students are ready and eager to learn. We are a Title I school with 100% of the students receiving free or reduced-price lunch. Our students come from a rural community with parents who want them to succeed and the best for them in life. My students are in first grade.

We enjoy learning in a nontraditional environment and using technology to explore the world around us.

My students are excited and love the opportunity to explore the world around them. They have been learning to work collaboratively and how to find solutions to real-world problems.

My Project

As first graders, my students learn best with hands on instruction. We use a lot of different activities and materials to learn. If a student is absent, they miss more than just worksheets.

An air purifier will help to cut down on the allergens and keep my kids healthy and at school.

Student absences go up in the winter with more indoor allergies and more time indoors. This will help my students with their learning as well. Students who are stopped up with allergies and don't feel well are not able to learn.
