Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are a group of energetic, creative, and eager learners. They come from predominantly low-socioeconomic backgrounds. Over 95% of our students receive a free or reduced-price lunch.

Our school is a safe haven for​ many of the students as it's the only place many receive consistency along with a daily routine of learning.

These preschool students are excited about learning and just need a boost to help continue to motivate them. An economic class should not determine their level of learning or hinder their creativity. Please help me give my students materials for learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

My Project

Helping to improve the air quality has been said to help reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus. These air purifiers will help keep my students safe when in the classroom. It will be extremely hard for 4 year olds to keep their masks on all day long. Aside from the challenge of children keeping their masks on, there will be times in the day when they have to be without masks (example: breakfast, lunch, snack and rest time). These air purifiers will help keep the air clear, especially during those times when masks cannot be worn. Please help keep the air clean for my Pre-k students, so they can breathe again!
