This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This calming space will provide students with an intentionally organized space to have tea and snacks that will meet their physical, emotional, and academic needs! Grumbling bellies are the barrier towards blooming minds. The bins, organizers, and snacks in this project will help to create a breakroom with brain food to nourish their bodies so that their minds can focus and achieve. Students must Maslow before they can Bloom!
Too many of our students experience hunger while they are in school which triggers a lack of motivation to learn.
