Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

After a year of remote learning and working alone these breakout box activities give the students the opportunity to work collaboratively, practice problem solving skills, and have fun while learning. Breakout Boxes allows students to work in groups to solve problems and unlock the combinations. These boxes can be used across all subjects. It also gives the students opportunities to show their leadership skills while working in groups. The puzzles are fun and a great way to engage all of the students rather than sitting at their desks taking notes, each student uses their different strengths to help their team be successful.

Breakout Boxes are a great way to integrate critical thinking, teamwork, and technology.

The supplies listed such as the locks and prizes will allow us to add on to our own boxes that we have created! Right now we have to change a lot of the lessons that we have to fit the locks in our school. With these other locks it will provide more variety to create more puzzles for the students ! These boxes are available to check out to teachers to provide them a class set of boxes ready to go!
