My Project

The items in this project will help my food science class to get to know each other better as we cook and share food together. Social emotional learning is essential to building community within our class, and these items will help to create a supportive environment.

The tea kettle will be used daily in class and the variety of tea bags, some with stress relieving qualities, are going to be very popular with my students.

The waffle maker and griddle combo will allow us to cook and grill in our classroom without having to go to the food science lab.

Lastly, the wall hanging will encourage students to be accepting of themselves and know that they are still growing.
