Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have amazing students who are so eager to learn. The excitement and the love for the arts really warms my heart because it is something they have not had at the school for a long time. You can not only see, but, feel the appreciation.

What makes them special is the drive to do better academically and behaviorally even with it being a challenge within their community.

My Project

I am bringing the arts back into our school and these specific materials will make a difference because they will boost the students’ confidence. The introduction of the arts is a pretty big deal for our school, and the kids are so excited, because we've never had it. Our lessons will include art standards that will involve learning how to create, perform and present.

The students will also be able to perceive and analyze artistic work making personal connections.

The quartet infinity magnetic glass dry-erase whiteboard will be utilized in the instruction of learning music notes and musical vocabulary. The pyle pro portable amplifier & microphone system and the pyle pro PMKS3 tripod microphone stand be utilized to assist in presentation, assist with public speaking, stage presence, vocalization and learning how to perform with the microphones, shaping each student to gain the confidence in embracing their individual talents. Materials will only be utilized on school premises, but they will have techniques to practice at home to train and get better.
