My Project

I realize that teaching at a Title One school, where most students come from low-income families, will bring challenges. But, I will not let that stop me. I plan to show my students that they can achieve and become whatever they put their minds to. These supplies will help our classroom run smoothly and keep them focused on learning.

This new year presents new opportunities for students to grow in reading and learning.

We are a highly diversified school, with many cultures and languages. We pride ourselves in a positive and effective learning environment while celebrating each other's differences.

These basic supplies, including notebooks, pencils, folders, and erasers, will help students create wonderful stories and grow in their writing, while keeping an organized workspace. The variety of cultural books will begin by using chapter books to encourage all my fourth graders to take their reading to the next level. Additionally, they will support the many nationalities and demographics in my class, helping them to feel a sense of belonging and allowing them to share their cultures with their classmates. Our new Education System operates using multiple response strategies, including using whiteboards to encourage students to participate in their learning. The erasers and wipes will help make sure each student does their part in keeping our classroom and supplies clean.
