Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our dual language students are very bright and outspoken! They strive to work hard every day in both English and Spanish instruction and come from very diverse cultural backgrounds. We love watching them grow into such great independent young learners.

Our students are adventurous learners and love to have fun in their diverse classrooms!

We try to meet our students where they are and take them as far as they can go with what we have available. Help us reach our goal today.

My Project

Besides not having enough bins, the current book bins be have are either too bulky or too small. We need a library that will help us find books a lot faster without having to take out a whole bin of heavy books. This over-crowding in the current book bins causes a lot of pages and book covers to get torn. Our teacher has accumulated lots of books through various programs and donations. So, our library keeps growing and is bigger than ever!

We just have to make sure our books have a nice home to live in while they wait for us to read them.

Selecting a just-right book will be easier than ever if we can get our library organized and have a lot more categories to choose from. The red and blue bins we are asking for will also help keep our Spanish and English books separate in our dual language classroom.
