My Project

My students are resilient but oftentimes don’t get enough to eat due to the majority coming from disadvantaged homes. This project will provide students that stay after school for tutoring with drinks and snacks to help them prepare for SOLs (Standards of Learning) that they need to graduate. I love working on goals and objectives with them because they work hard to achieve them when they can solely focus on studying.

We will be focusing on reading and writing strategies during our bi-weekly sessions.

Practice builds confidence in students.
