My Students

Ignite our lessons with technology in the classroom. Brain Pop is a great way to introduce new topics or concepts and gets kids juices flowing.

We are a class of 11 Special Education students in a public, inner city school who are struggling in all subject areas.

My students currently are in 7th and 8th grade but are only reading on a first and second grade level. We are trying hard and making progress but have a lot of work to do.

My Project

Brain Pop is an online subscription for hundreds of standards-aligned animated movies, quizzes, games, high-interest readings, and activities that span Science, Social Studies, English, Math, Engineering & Technology, Health, and Arts & Music. Each subscription is for one year for three classroom computers. With these subscriptions our classroom will have access to so much information in a student friendly fun way. It will help maintain their interest and focus while learning. In the long run it will help our students achieve success.

Unfortunately, due to tough economic times, our extra funding had been eliminated.

Your donation will greatly help our struggling students. It is through donors like you that our students will succeed!
