My students are amazing young men and women that are preparing themselves for their next step on their journey in life. We come from a rural high school in Hawaii and many of these students have aspirations that will lead them to exciting new places. They have fought through and overcome the struggles of learning during a pandemic and have begun to emerge on the "other side."
My students have learned how to learn and collaborate again after the COVID-19 pandemic and I want to help support them in their day-to-day well-being by helping to provide them with snacks to help fuel them through their days.
Many of my students often come to school hungry and as active high schoolers they constantly need to refuel. Being able to provide healthy snacking options for them in my classroom will help to keep them going through the school day as well as carry them through after school activities.
Our community snack bin in our classroom often runs low. I try to keep the bin stocked so that all students who may not have anything at home can pick up a snack to get them through the day. Thank you for any donation you can make to help my students!
