Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Since the students come from low socioeconomic families, they need nourishment to get through the day. Lunch is at 1:00 PM every day. Since school starts at 8:30 AM, my students go about five hours without eating. During these five hours, they get restless and are focused on when their next meal will be, not on learning. A small snack of brain food can do wonders for their learning.

These snacks will ensure that the students will gain the brain power needed to be successful as they learn in the classroom.

My amazing students work so hard every day and need breaks/snacks to refuel and stay focused and engaged during a long day of learning! It's important for them to learn that hard work will lead them to success.
