My Project

My alternative education students often face unique challenges that require tailored approaches to their learning experience. One significant area that requires attention is nutrition, as it plays a crucial role in supporting cognitive function, mood regulation, and overall well-being. Many of our students come from challenging backgrounds, potentially not eating outside of school, and ensuring they have access to healthy food throughout the school day is essential to their success.

When we are able to offer a consistent supply of nutritious snacks, it increases our students' ability to maintain focus, energy levels, and creativity during their learning journey.

To address this need, we are seeking funding to stock our pantry with options that will provide our alt-ed students with access to wholesome snacks, positively impacting their learning and well-being.
