Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students need snacks to remain focused and energized during the school day. Many of my students skip breakfast or eat it between 6am-7am. Nutritionist suggests that we eat small meals every 3 hours, however; lunch is served at 12:00pm. The beverages, granola bars, fruit snacks, crackers and Pop Corners will fill our classroom pantry with daily brain food. Young people have a challenging time focusing on academics when their stomachs are empty.

Snacks can help encourage concentration and re-energize tired students.

It always brings a big smile to their faces when they receive snacks. These snacks will help me make sure my students are always full and ready to learn!
