My Project

My students are made up of kids who are learning English as a second language. I work with kindergartners through 3rd graders and they must take an assessment every year to see their growth in English. This is a mandated test and it takes a lot of focus, drive, and time. The kids will sometimes sit on a computer for an hour or more to work on this assessment.

Thank you so very much for any support you can give toward getting these snacks for my students!

I have created a snack bag for each student, each day in the past. This was very helpful and the kids still remember having something to eat while they were working. It helps them with focus; but it also gives them energy and helps to lessen test anxiety.

I will give the snacks to students as they settle in to take the test. The Cheez-its, Goldfish, and Welch's Fruit Snacks will be offered every time a student sits down to a computer to work on the assessment.
