Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from diverse backgrounds and immerse themselves daily in the cultures of their peers through learning two languages (English and Spanish).

Our students strive for academic excellence in both languages in all academic subjects which makes them very unique.

Each child brings something special to the classroom through their experiences and areas of expertise. They make our school an exceptional place to be through their determination to be successful academically while embracing the many cultures that come together within our walls.

My Project

Our students have very busy and long mornings between their breakfast and lunch time. With all the hard work they complete every morning, they are in need of a snack to push through until lunch time.

Brain food that is free of allergens are essential to giving students a much needed boost to finish their days strong.

We have built in time each day to allow students the opportunity to have a snack in order to help them fight off hunger since our lunch is so late. However, not every student has the opportunity to bring a snack from home. These snacks are a great way to provide options for students who forget snack or aren't able to bring them from home. Additionally, most all of them are allergen free in order to be an available option for all students in class. These snacks make a huge difference in class because students can continue to focus on their work rather than their growling stomachs.
