My Project

My students are truly the heart and soul of our classroom. They bring an infectious energy and a unique perspective to everything we do. Their curiosity knows no bounds, and they approach each new lesson with a refreshing blend of enthusiasm and wonder. Whether they're erupting in giggles over a silly story, collaborating on a creative project with focused determination, or offering a kind word to a classmate who needs it, their individual personalities and collective spirit make teaching an absolute joy.

They are a vibrant mix of thinkers, dreamers, and doers, and their eagerness to learn and grow inspires me every single day.

Witnessing their "aha!" moments and the pride they take in their accomplishments is the most rewarding part of being their teacher.

The books I've chosen for this project – Plants vs. Zombies, Mercy Watson, and The First Cat in Space – are specifically selected to tap into their playful nature and diverse interests. Plants vs. Zombies will capture their strategic thinking and love for quirky characters, making reading feel like an exciting game. The Mercy Watson series, with its charming illustrations and laugh-out-loud scenarios, will build comprehension skills and foster a love for silly stories and endearing characters. Finally, The First Cat in Space will ignite their imaginations with a blend of adventure, humor, and relatable themes of friendship and bravery. These engaging resources will not only make reading a joyful experience but also help build crucial literacy skills, expand their vocabulary, and encourage them to explore a wider range of genres. By providing these high-interest books, I aim to cultivate a lifelong love of reading in each and every one of my amazing students.
