Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have found that coupling praise and positive reinforcements with tangible incentives, recognizes effort and encourages perseverance in all of my students.

Often many of my students just need a brain break throughout the day to refocus them.

A brain break tool kit filled with sensory tools, water timers, stress balls and snacks will be just what is needed to give them the space and time to cool down and refocus, so that they can be in a good headspace to learn.

Having tokens of encouragement on hand like stickers and treats to celebrate success and perseverance in the classroom will also help to keep my students motivated throughout the school day.
