Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are preparing for the January Algebra regents. Our class is scheduled for a back to back/ double period time slots. The instruction is very intensive and often very demanding mentally.

This project will provide my students brain break materials such as puzzles and snacks.

Brain breaks are proven to reduce stress, anxiety, and frustration.

My students will greatly benefit greatly from these materials because they will have an enhance cognitive functioning and hopefully better mental well being. Some of my students also stay after school and the snacks makes it even more inviting.
